"Remember this for life"

Today's match was extremely well played :D

Everyone was geared up for today after the prep talk by Mr Tay and Mr Ng yesterday after the match. Today was extremely crucial, because if we won we would be a step closer to the 2nd round.

And we won! :D

The match was very very well fought. The desire to win was there in all of us so we gritted through with our lives. It was one of the few times I really felt I wasn't in a dream anymore. Super alert and super focused like everything was clear and sharp. All of us played well and none of us made any major mistakes so it was crucial in every single way! We all stayed calm and cool and played well!!

Most importantly, was that we lost the first set. 2nd set they were already leading by a lot and it reached 24-18 to St Hilda's. They: 1 point to winning. We: 6 points to catch up. Cherie was serving and I was standing at the net praying, and willing the team to win and Cherie's serve to cross and subconsciously thinking: Is it possible that we win them this set? All the omens and signs Melissa was talking about?

And when the ball went over I'd quickly snap out of it and concentrate and then we won we won we won that set!!!!!!!!! It was a miracle!!

The cohesion within the team was evident today. We really played like a team, shouted as a team and fought with the team. The spirit was an all-time high by the time it came to the third set and we won!

Was euphoric I tell you :D First-time I felt sooooo victorious. We fought for that so fiercely! Couldn't stop smiling widely.

We mostly won on psychological warfare today, ha ha. Thanks to Mr Tay and his psychology and Mr Ng with his psychology. Well, at least being in DHS helps a bit, we use our brains and play intellectual mind games. And Nicole was quite funny she was still shouting "In ball! In ball!" to the referee and looking at me as if to egg me to join her hahahahahah :D And the point was given to us!

Well anyway, after a good sleep tonight we have to put this back as a motivation, a reminder of what we can achieve and what we can do. But we have to hold our stand and give it our all for Peicai because we never know what can happen! Complacency never helps! Hahaha.

We have a long way to go so, let us get better and better!!
