A fleeting moment
The excursion was um, acceptable I suppose. But we visted all these places again and again! Other than the Sikh temple which was really an eye opener. It's amazing how these religions sometimes contradicts, but they can all co-exist in harmony. It's amazing how religion can help someone so much, enlighten and empower you with virtues. It's probably good to be a staunch believer of your religion.
After that Me, Mel, JM, Ag, Mich and Eva went to Singtel building for lunch and then to Far East. Only Mich Ag and Eva cabbed there. 3 of us ran all the way from school to bus 14. We still had to wait in the end. I ran 1km in the morning cos I thought I was late for Cherie to come pick me. I had to wait too. Early is good.
So, we went to Far East and JM and Eva pierced their ears, again. Then they all went to do their brows while Mel and I shopped throughly. Could spend a week there. But no returns other than a hairband and a belt. Then we went to Taka to shop for a few hours then Mel and I had to meet our family for dinner and we had to run all the way from Taka to Orchard MRT! Can you imagine.
Dinner was good, as usual. I love my family! My Dad is really funny today. And my Mum and brother. Then we shopped around looking for my bag. I'm still going out with my Dad tomorrow on a bag expedition. Hope don't come home empty handed. Before going home we had our usual supper thing at Mac's whenever we're at Marina Square before going home. Then we talked and laughed and all and I felt.. Grateful and contented I have this family. Not to mention awesome friends like team-04 and cupcakes and the trinity. And 2C and 3F and all. Love you guys so much. I want you to know I'm thankful for you.
And we went home. If only I hadn't insisted on listening to more of the song in the car. If only I hadn't stood at the steps to wait for bro to take his stuff from the car. If only I waited at the lift. I would have caught him when he came out. But I was walking far back at the other side and I only heard voices. I didn't even know it was him till Mum said in the lift:
