People always leave
Forgot to talk about something. People always leave. And the goodbyes are forever. Let's see, Jessica migrated back to England and I've never heard from her since. It's been years, and I doubt she even remembers me. I got pushed down by her brother once. I was invited to her potluck birthday party and she lived in the condominium beside mine. It has been torn down and another one has been built in its place. I remember her freckles.
Then there was Trisha, she was from Indonesia and her mum and mine were good friends, I think? Then she moved back. I have her on MSN thankfully but we don't talk. So what's the point actually?
I remember a HongKong girl from when I was in P5. She came back and I don't remember her name but I remember she was a HongKong girl who went back. I suppose that's enough.
Then there was my neighbour. The "badminton champ" my Dad dubbed her because when we all go down to play we would play badminton once in a while and she'd swipe out her racket and show some moves and laugh at us if we play badly. She migrated to England and I didn't even know till her family came back for summer holidays recently. Bummer.
Who else, ChunLong. This guy from 2B whom I befriended recently during YouthDay. He'd be going back to HongKong and I guessed it. He was saying bye to his seniors on the 3rd level today. I shook his hand and said good luck and bon voyage. What else could I do?
And then there was Auron. Some corner of the world he'd be, and he might be president one day who knows. As long as he remembers Mr Kiw's words.
There are still many whom I don't even know they have moved overseas or anything. But people always leave, they do. Ham says they come back someday but who really does? They move on while the people left behind constantly mourn their presence and think if they actually remember you.
