Y= MX + C

Studying sessions are more productive as the years get by. In lower secondary study sessions are as useful as cockroaches. Just talk and play and no action. In upper secondary (especially this year) it's work, work, work, and the almost inevitable sudden grabbing of the calculator to calculate GPA and prepare ourselves for the worst.

And since JM imparted her Superteen skills to me I shall employ them to good use. Chem is my best subject. I love Chem like c-razy. Imagine, the mole formulaes oooh so exciting to calculate how many tonnes does this make this! And all the 21 chapters in the little red book without color makes it so easy to study and memorize! I love choking myself with the fumes in the hot lab, perspiring in my tie and sometimes endangering myself with all the different chemicals which I will never fail to spill onto my worksheet. Or trying different methods to identify the gas taking so much time in the end no one I asked got a gas but HOW CAN THERE BE NO GAS? Ass gas maybe hahahaha.

It's a mystery.

I've settled my feud with Math. I should think so. But it's another mystery. Why double weightage? Why?! To kill those already half-dead struggling with numbers and graphs and formulas and funny looking symbols in sets :( It's crazy and the topics just started getting harder.

History :( It's like having to relearn all my writing skills and thinking skills after one whole complete slack but fun year. Last year was enriching. This year is enriching, interactive and brain juice consuming.

Even CME isn't as harmless as it seems. Your textbook/activity book is in English. The educational clips you watch is in English. But your answers are in Chinese. Whaaaat. Another weird mystery. All my 4 years' worth of CME teachers are Chinese teachers that want us to write in Chinese!!

PE is not harmless either. Hate running, big time. I don't mind running while playing catching or running to zap a copy of this or that or running to catch the bus (normally I don't, very embarrasing) but running for exercise a huge no-no. I hate it everytime I feel like my lungs are going to give way just gasping for breath, or your legs giving up. Sprints I'm fine.

Wait, even recess isn't harmless. We struggled this year not having same recess time as a whole level and struggle even more with 10 minutes less to relax. Queueing takes up 90% of the time at first. And GST in a school canteen is quite laughable.

Anyway so .. Yes, study sessions. Clocked about 7 hours today? Maybe 6 then, excluding 2 trips to the looo and lunch and laughing so hard my stomach really really hurt. But the rest of the time was serious work. And together with any of the ties, all talk would eventually lead to talks about the future.

"Your husband would be alternative" - JM to Melissa

WHAT ALTERNATIVE! We laughed till my lungs would give way. My husband would be Jazz -.-

Me: What's that word that starts with the S.. Oh satire
Mel: What's a satire?
Me: I think it's like Animal Farm
JM: 是不是 animal 会讲话 ?

I tell you that was like whaat?! Firstly, the meaning isn't even near the mark, secondly she just all of a sudden blurted out Mandarin! It's perfectly fine but it's a weird broken Mandarin sentence. Siao.

And this small guy from PSLTC added me online no idea how he got my email but I guess it really satisfies him to say "Hi" and having me say "Hey" back and never continuing the conversation. We're really getting to know each other. Oh the first time he said "My name is Advanced Water System" and I really had no idea how to react to that except "Haha.."

"Cool."

It's not cool, it's like weird to be making introductions like that. Anyway, back to worrrrrrk. Have a nice day!
