Reflections

"Makes me feel like coming to Dunman!"
"The camp was the best I've been to!"
"The camp is perfect! I love it!"

And more flattering *ahem* ones:

"The best part of the camp were lectures!"
"The lectures were very funny!"
"Very interesting and fun!"

Yesssss! PSLTC has ended with a huge bang and it was a success! All these weeks of toiling and sitting in front of the computer editing and editing the powerpoint making it interesting and thinking of the whole structure of the lectures has paid off. Seriously truly paid off.

I feel this never before felt fulfillment and meaning of what I'm doing. Being an SC sometimes is gruelling seriously, what with meetings almost everyday as if the foyer belongs to us, or vetting proposals and liaising with different people and organizations.

We act as nannys, as cleaners, and put aside our self-consciousness to hype up people. People might view us all as useless bulls, just slaving and toiling. Sometimes I feel like shit, but when it all comes together, there is a sense of satisfaction that I've done my part for the school. And there is a desire to do even more.

But what comes down to it all is that I realized I have a strong passion in serving people, and the belief in our purpose.

Through PSLTC, not only the kids have enjoyed themselves tremendously and walked away with more skills learnt, we ourselves have learnt too, if not even more. How to plan even better, how to speak, how to react, how to behave and so many how tos that will make it an even more enriching and meaningful experience.

2 days were short seriously, but the stress, the time (Imagine going to school even earlier than usual), the hard work were all truly 100% worth it. We gave our 100%, we got back 200% in return. All the laughter and happy faces were priceless.

I feel grateful for all these opportunities constantly opened up to me since primary school. These memories will last me a lifetime.

To EXCO: Love you guys, we have did the best we can in our
term!

To SC: The passion is evidently rising, so all the
way! The first step is taken by the pioneer batch, so let us continue opening up
our hearts, and continue this meaningful and fulfilling journey.
