Fallen

Constantly wonder why one period in class doesn't pass as fast as the weekends. What a pity.

Turning tanned once again since the gym has to be shared with Wushu, C Girls, B Girls, A Girls and A Boys, though the A 'Division hasn't come of age yet.

Congratulations to DHS String Ensemble and Chinese Orchestra for attaining Gold with honours and doing DHS proud and also to Badminton girls for making it all the way to Nationals, and to the Finals! This is what I can only dream of. Haven't even come close.

But to those who didn't, I can totally feel what you guys are feeling now. It's like working hard for 4 years thinking something should come out of it, and this is your one big break, your one big goal you want so very much to attain, but it just doesn't go your way. We can't get over it in a short time and shouldn't we be given some time to mourn and grief?

I'm not standing on the side of those who advocates the "It's all over anyway, crying won't make any difference. Dry your tears and move on." Although it's wise to some extent, it's bullfly to the person's feelings. "Cry it all out, and when you feel better time will heal those wounds" would be more apt. Still feel the gaping hole from the Zonals and I'd close off whenever someone mentions it. Too much pain.

I think CCAs is one of the better plans MOE has come out with. It has become so integrated into our lives we almost can't live without it because we are so connected to our CCA mates and have so much passion for what we're doing; at least we don't go just for CCA points.

But all these aren't as important as choosing the right CCA.
