The fight for a tomorrow
Gramps touched down in Singapore in the evening today. First thing she said was..
In the car.
Gramps: Wah your face so round now!
Me: ... Hello PoPo
Gramps: (To Mum) Wah she looks rounder now!
Mum: Yeah, she grew fatter, can't fit into most of her clothes.
Gramps: Wah, I didn't know sports people can get fat too. (Damn)
Me: (Suffering in silence)
In the lift.
Gramps: Not only is she rounder, she's fairer!
Mum: (Mumbles something in reply)
Gramps: She grew taller too!
Me: (Smiles widely) Yeah I think I did! :DD
Mum: No she didn't.
Thanks ah Gramps. Double thanks Mum :(((
Grr, I am fatter I must face it. Holiday = Intensive volleyball, study and toning.
Speaking of volleyball, we had training today until the rain ruined it. So we did physical training and my arms are aching. My volleyball was naughty and it went out of the shelter into the rain 3 times. So I was soaked as well. I have cold feet now (Insert sneeze here). And I feel so drained and tired. 2 more days. Why does the final week seem so long. Coach gave us all a wake up call. We totally have to work hard to get a trophy.
There is no way I'm letting 3 years' worth of passion and hard work go to waste. There is no way I'm letting 2007's East Zone pass and us not getting into Nationals. Will not live another year with regrets. No regrets in volleyball. So all you people (and me) train hard. I am going to intensive training and studying this holiday. No more child's play, this is getting down to business!
And I'm going to seek courage to face up to stuff. Belief. 2007 will be the year to fight. Fight for my future and my passion. As an afterthought, maybe my happiness. No, happiness I fight tomorrow.
Courrrraaage. Oh no my calf is cramping.
Edited: Ham's in my condo! In the other block. Would've met her downstairs to play if it weren't so cold, if my thighs weren't aching like mad, if I hadn't had Bio to complete. Hmppffft.
