Take 5
Tuesdays always fly-by cause it's the day we end early and I have nothing afterschool. Finished The Pianist during history. Seriously History rocks. I think we can movie mania till the end of the year. Agnes fell asleep 10 minutes into the film. So much for getting excited. No more M&Ms for me. Making me sinful. Remember the school summber
Went Harbourfront with Melly and Ham after school. I seem to be going places. Literally. Soo far from my house! Still, I love exploring! Heyheyy, that place is super big and coool! We shopped and shopped and ate at Mac's before going home. Time seemed to wait. I feel contented with fries and good friends :D I remember how I used to go there when I was young, looking at Sentosa from afar, looking at the big sea.. The ship captains, the tourists. How my mum and I used to spend so much time there because I had no homework (I was in kindergarten!) and brother is still somewhere waiting to get into mum's stomach. Those days of joy, innocence and never-ending time.
Seriously, where did the days go?
Interaction was quite a disaster. Went in to realize we weren't very much prepared, and I just crapped out whatever was instilled in me for debrief :D But I love 1A loads stil! ZhaiRui and GaoMiao did 3f proud! We emerged top for today's Take5! Cheered like crazy for them! May all 3 contestants from 3f emerge top 3 at the end of the year. That'll say something. And prove that we're good at something.
Here's an excerpt from this book I read in Dead Eric Gets A Virus. It's much of a nonsense book with not much depth, but it's really interesting. So here goes:
holidays whe you were like, seven or eight years old? They'd last forever, right? Those seven weeks would stretch out before you like eternity. But when you get to like 12, the seven weeks would only last about seven weeks.
I talked about this with Pastor
Charlie. "It's very true," he said. "The first ten or 12 years of your life take about ten or 12 years to go by. The years from 13 to 20 rush by in a couple of years. From 20-40 -- Well, those years speed up in a matter of minutes."
