Sports meet-- The usually rahrah event of the year is just another day. I don't know if it's because I've had 3 years worth of it already, or it was just because time flies especially fast this year.

I've worked my ass off and sleepless nights these 2 weeks, and yesterday was the final stretch that ended off well :D

We won the cheering competition! And did well in most of the events. But I must say, the venue was horrible :( We got the grandstand seats mostly because we were the hosts. And there was a break in the middle for VIPs so we couldn't do the kallang wave properly. C'mon Year 1s and Sec 2s! You're in the shade when the rest of the schools are in the rain, and there isn't an ounce of sunlight on your skins! Where's your stamina! We all had sunburnt in the past years. But at least the Year 1s got really really enthusiastic the last few hours! I must thank those really enthusiastic ones. Thanks! I don't know how it went with the upper sec because I was in the lower sec block. I think we screwed up the competition cheer and I'm not sure if we won because we were loud. Or because we were the hosts, or because we didn't do well in events. But anyway, I was happy and glad and relieved it was over. And it hit a good note.

Thank you Agnes, Hannah, Vanessa, Clep and all who have encouraged me during this period, and also to YaoLu and Zara for helping in everyway possible. Xinying, PeiQi and Li Li for their help. And to all SCs who helped out during the process eg. Banner and cheering. I appreciate it truly. Also to 3F who helped with the cheering up and the cheers! And for your unconditional support. Hmm, also to.. All who have made it good (:

After sportsmeet, we squashed ourselves onto this chartered SBS with the Sec 4s. Brought us to Jurong Point. And we had a team dinner! Like, finally. I felt extremely loved and contented. Ate at Pizza Hut and had a hard time, as usual, settling the bill because of the GST and all. I bet it was worse at Swensen's after East Zones (: And we talked a lot a lot. I call it team therapy! I love them all. I never feel a single ounce of sadness with them. After that took the long long ride home from one end of Singapore to the other. Saw our future school neighbourhood. Scary stuff. Eva took the bus home so Mel, Cherie, Serene and I were just crapping on the train. Lovely stuff. And terribly funny! Nevermind we had to stand all the way. But it was good :D

And then I had to walk home from the MRT station in the night. I always love walking home in the night. 2nd time only. The first time was around 8. This time was later. Cos my Dad always deemed it unsafe. But, anything lar. My only fear was that someone would attack me from behind and steal my MOS burger soup I held in my hand from Jurong Point. Attack me if you must, leave my food alone! But on a more serious note, I had some time to myself, and the jogging path had many people jogging after their meal of carbos. It gave me some space to breathe, and to reflect on how I've performed and how I will improve and so on.

Thank you for cheersheets and enthusiastic people. For Milo and for runners. For trophies and for encouragement. For food and smiles. For shade and voices. For nights and a place to sleep at night. For a happy ending and songs. For great friends and team spirit. Thank you.

And I'm thankful, that I've learnt to appreciate life fully, and truly.
